We are thrilled to share a monumental update from our recent mission to Nigeria. During our Pediatric Cardiology Medical Camp in Lagos, the Andalusia Heart Team successfully completed life-saving open-heart surgeries for seven children. This initiative marks a significant step forward in our mission to bridge the gap in specialized cardiac care across the African continent.
For these seven families, the mission represented more than just medical intervention; it was a gift of a future. Congenital heart conditions often require highly specialized expertise and technology that can be difficult to access. By bringing our elite surgical team directly to Lagos, we ensured that these children received world-class treatment without the immense burden of international travel.
